Oklahoma District Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod

The 51st Convention of the Oklahoma District of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod will be held June 13 - 14, 2025 at the Hilton Garden Inn and Conference Center in Edmond, Oklahoma.

The theme verse for the upcoming 2025 convention is Luke 10:2, "Pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.", aligning with the Synod's Set Apart to Serve initiative which is aimed at increasing the number of "laborers" sent out into His harvest.

Rev. Dr. James Baneck, Executive Director of LCMS Pastoral Education, will be the convention essayist. He oversees Set Apart to Serve (SAS). Since church work is rooted in Baptism and a lifetime of hearing the Word, SAS encourages young people to consider church work vocations primarily through their continued and faithful involvement with their congregation. The convention theme “Praying to the Lord of the Harvest” will be explored in three devotions during the convention, “Praying Earnestly to the Lord,” “Praying for Laborers to Send Out,” and “Praying for His Harvest.”
