JOY - Oklahoma District Middle School Gathering at Camp Lutherhoma

“Joy, joy, joy, ohhh the joy, joy, joy!” rang out at Camp Lutherhoma as middle school students from across the Oklahoma District gathered for the annual JOY Middle School Gathering.

This year’s gathering centered on the theme “LEGIT: The Truth Is Out There,” pointing students to Jesus’ words in John 14:6: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”

Through Bible study, singing, and fellowship, students spent the weekend growing in faith. Rain or shine, the joy continued as students learned more about the One who is the source of lasting truth and life.

The JOY Middle School Gathering offered a meaningful opportunity for young people to grow together in God’s Word. We thank God for the high school youth and adults who organized and led this weekend retreat for our District’s middle schoolers!
