- The Oklahoma District exists to support congregations and church workers as they faithfully proclaim the Gospel and serve their communities. Through worship, Christian education, mercy, evangelism, and fellowship, Oklahoma Lutherans seek to make known the saving work of Jesus Christ.

- Sharing Christ through Oklahoma - God is at work through Lutheran ministries across our state. From urban communities to rural towns, Oklahoma Lutherans are sharing Christ’s grace through congregations, schools, and specialized ministries.
- The district works alongside congregations to plant new churches and strengthen existing ministries, especially in communities where the Gospel continues to take root.
- Lutheran ministries across Oklahoma share Christ’s love with people from many backgrounds, including Hispanic, Burmese Karen, Hmong, Liberian, and other communities.
- Campus ministries, military outreach, prison ministry, and other mission efforts bring the Gospel to people in unique places and seasons of life.
