Evangelism Training Event June 13, 2026 with Every One His Witness and Rev. Daniel Ross

Camp Lutherhaven for 5th - 12th graders July 26-31!

This year Camp Lutherhaven will return to Lutherhaven Retreat Center for our annual summer camp. The dates for camp will be Sunday evening, July 26 and will go until Friday at noon, July 31. The theme for this years' camp is JONAH: RELUCTANT MISSIONARY (Are you one?). All Bible studies are taught by pastors in the LCMS. The cost for this year's camp will remain the same as last year: $75 per camper.
To help keep the cost for operating our camp down we are asking for financial assistance for the 2026 camp. We are so thankful for the past support from congregations, individuals and Thrivent chapters. This support has ensured financially successful camps. The normal amount offered by each congregation has been $1.00 per communicant member.
We encourage Pastors, Youth Leaders, and other Laity to attend and help make sure this week is a success. If your church would like to help provide a meal during the week, please let us know.
Please contact Rev. Mark Wescoatt at Trinity, Guymon for more information. Registration Form Below.

New Witnessing Skills Assessment Tool
The Oklahoma District LCMS is excited to release the new Congregational Witnessing Skills Assessment Tool! Developed by Evangelism Executive Rev. Daniel Ross in response to Resolution 06-01-25A, this resource helps congregations evaluate their evangelism, outreach, and witness training. Available as both a PDF and a digital form, the tool includes comprehensive questionnaires, a group discussion guide, an optional school section, and even a simplified version for smaller congregations. Rev. Ross shares: “I hope this is a benefit to our congregations and allows them to better evaluate their evangelism, outreach, and witnessing training as they seek to faithfully answer Christ’s command to ‘make disciples.’” Learn more and access the tool here or through contacting Rev. Ross.
