Camp Lutherhoma had a great summer in 2021, with more participants than in 2019. With 2020 bringing only half our average summer campers, they rebounded to their summer average in one year! The summer theme, “The Time Of Grace”, was an inspiration to campers, staff, and families to learn more about the amazing grace that has been given to all believers in Jesus Christ.
Probably the highlight of summer 2021 was the new “Summer Family Camp”. Several families came for a custom-made week of fun and fellowship with the staff and other families. Each family was assigned a summer staff member who helped them plan their daily activities. This staff member would then lead them in these activities. Another great part of the week was that families had the flexibility to register for a unique length of stay. The families determined their arrival and departure days, anywhere from Sunday till Thursday.
Camp Lutherhoma is planning on offering Summer Family Camp again in 2022. Be sure to watch for information on the entire summer.
